Overview

Units are used in SAP to express an organization's functional structure. The sales and distribution organizational structure of a company can be primarily represented by the Client, Company Code, Plant. Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, Division and Storage Location. Other structural components like warehouse, shipping point, loading point, sales office, sales group and transportation planning point also play relevant roles in the order-to-cash process.
