Production/Process order confirmation in SAP is a manufacturing transaction with financial impact. In confirmation, the produced, scrapped and rework quantities are declared; associated order costs are derived based on activity hours committed to produced product; and work center capacity is reduced. Due to the business importance of tthe confirmation process, it is important maintain the confirmation entries as soon as actual production data is available.
