Process manufacturing is managed by the Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI) component of SAP. It is basically designed for manufacturing processes that concerned with process recipes and are batch managed. This processes also typically have associated co-products. Examples include the food and beverage industries, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Process orders are used in process manufacturing.
