What is difference between MRP controller and production scheduler in SAP?

An MRP controller is a key for an individual role or group of individual roles responsible for managing the material requirements of a group of materials such packaging, semi-finished, finished, raw materials etc. The production scheduler is key that is defined in the work scheduling of a material master; and is responsible for ensuring that the execution of production activities is done according to the production plan.
