What is User Exit in SAP ABAP?


User Exit is an enhancement technique introduced by SAP to use in an extraction when SAP extractors do not provide the required functionality. 

It is a three character code that gives instructions to access the program when the system is up and running. SXX is the three character code for standard exits. UXX is the three character code for user exits. XX represents the 2-digit exit number.
