What is Cash Sales in SAP SD?

Cash Sales is a type of sales order developed with the intent of managing quick sales scenarios in which a customer picks up and immediately pays for his goods after he orders. On this system, the delivery is automatically (with the sales order date) created as soon as a sales order is created; a billing document is also generated with the same day, s soon as a delivery document is saved.
