How can I manage components of my products that are service parts?

SAP S/4HANA has a feature called phantom assemblies that helps companies to manage the production of products that have service parts. Service parts are component materials that, even though they are part of the overall finished product, are also available directly to customers because such materials wear off after some time and thus will need replacement.
