Changing the object list for the insp. lot can affect defects recording

What causes this issue?

You have called up an already existing object list for the inspection
lot in change mode.
Note
If you delete serial numbers from the object list of an inspection lot
for which defects have already been saved, you must also delete the
saved defect records.
