Business Component gives a high-level overview of unknown or partially known attributes in a system. This was previously called Business Service.

Business System is a well-known system in System Landscape Directory (SLD) where every Business System is connected to a Technical System. All SAP systems should be regarded as Business Systems in the System Landscape Directory.
