A Product Cost Collector is a cost object that is used in manufacturing environments that favor collation of product cost by period instead of by order/lot. A Product Cost Collector collects the actual cost used to produce a specific material within a defined period. Hence, it can be used in both discrete and process manufacturing scenarios.
