How does the SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit work?

The SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit works in a structured manner where global accounts, directories and subaccounts are the levels you need to be aware of. 

A global account is at the top of the structure and it can have zero or more subaccounts and zero or more directories. Directories are the second level with a group of subaccounts. This is an optional level. The third level is subaccounts including applications, services and subscriptions for each subaccount.
