Can I create long-term purchasing contracts with SAP?

Besides purchase orders, which are also a form of contract, SAP provides the functionality for the creation of contract agreements which are longer term agreements with vendors. There are two types of contracts – value contract and quantity contract. As the name implies, value contract depends on the total value of the contract and is diminished when the total value is fulfilled by the vendor while quantity contract depends on the quantity.
