Orders with multiple substitution are not transferred to SAP ECC

What causes this issue?

A multiple substitution exists for the interchangeable component with
the item number &V2& in order &V1&. Along with the original item, the
order also contains at least two substitute items. You cannot transfer
orders with a multiple substitution to SAP ECC.

System Response

The system terminates the transfer and processing of the order in SAP
ECC and generates a faulty queue entry.

How to fix this error?

In SAP APO reduce the supersession chain to the current component and
its successor.
Explode order &V1& with the current source of supply again in the order
processing view of interactive production planning in SAP APO. After the
explosion, the order contains only the original component from the
source of supply.
To update the secondary requirements of the order and add the substitute
components from the supersession chain to the order, perform an ATP
check for the order in interactive production planning, for example.
If the message does not include the order number, check the order with
the availability date &V3& for product and location &V4&.

Procedure for System Administrators

Delete the queue with the faulty queue entry.
