What causes this issue?

Production version &V1& for material &V2& in plant &V3& is invalid for
explosion date &V4&.
Invalid production versions cannot be used in production orders and
process orders.

System Response

Processing is terminated.

How to fix this error?

Change the period of validity for production version &V1& in SAP ECC or
ensure that a valid production version is transferred from the external
system.
