Automatic date shift for the order date is not permitted

What causes this issue?

Automatic date shift is not possible for the order date because the
purchase order has not been released.

System Response

The order date was not posted. The system can only post the date if it
has been released.

How to fix this error?

Release the purchase order and consequently post the order date.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
