Synchronization of allocation table is not possible (storage location)

What causes this issue?

The system was unable to perform the synchronization of the allocation
table &v1&, item &v2&. As a result, it was also unable to change the
storage location. Follow-on documents probably exist for the allocation
table that are preventing the change.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
