Purchasing list item &1 &2 is already released

What causes this issue?

Once a purchasing list item is released, it can no longer be updated.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Try to undo the release of the purchasing list item, then try to update
it again.
