Work item &: Status & cannot be set

What causes this issue?

The status of the work item cannot be changed. It is not possible to
update the work item header.

System Response

The action was terminated, the work item was not changed.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
