Workflow & feedback work item &: Workflow definition not activated

What causes this issue?

When a response message was sent by work item &V2&, the related
workflow definition &V1& was not active. The workflow definition may
have been changed while the workflow was being executed.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check with the responsible workflow modeller whether revision of the
workflow definition has been completed. Then activate the workflow
definition and resume processing of the workflow.
