Customizing for condition document index not stored or incomplete

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

What causes this issue?

You have not defined the condition document index for document type &V1&
, use &V2& and application &V3&. The system cannot find a sales
condition type (for example VKP0) for the determination of the sales
prices. You must define an appropriate condition type in the condition
document index, as the customizing settings specify that retail prices
should be transferred.

System Response

As the system cannot determine or analyze retail prices without a
condition type, processing will be terminated.

How to fix this error?

Adjust the customizing settings as appropriate for the condition
document index, or exclude retail prices from processing.
