Configuration not allowed for item category &1

What causes this issue?

According to Customizing, configuration is not allowed for items with
item category &V1&.

System Response

You cannot configure the item.

How to fix this error?

If you want to configure items with item category &V1&, you must make a
setting in Customizing. Select the <ZK>Configurable Item</> indicator
under <ZK>Trading Contract -> Configuration -> Make Configuration
Settings for Trading Contracts</> in Customizing for <ZK>Global Trade
</>.
