What causes this issue?

An internal error occurred in function module &V1&. The system attempted
to determine a follow-on document of category
CASE &V2&.
WHEN '1'.
Trading Contract
WHEN '2'.
Sales Order
WHEN '3'.
Purchase Order
WHEN '4'.
Supllier Billing document
ENDCASE.
However, no entry was found.
The error message was triggered during processing of a NAST record with
the object key &V3&.
