What causes this issue?
Serial numbers are expected for this item in the inbound delivery. The
serial numbers cannot be copied to the inbound delivery from an
inventory management transaction.
System Response
The goods movement with reference to an inbound delivery item without
serial numbers is not possible.
How to fix this error?
Use the <DS:TRAN.VL32N>change transaction</> for the inbound delivery to
post the goods receipt.
Procedure for System Administrators
This error message can be changed using
<DS:SIMG.SIMG_CFMENUOLSDOVM1>Customizing for Shipping</>. The
prerequisites are that the serial numbers profile for the inbound
delivery item does not require serial number maintenance and that no
serial numbers are maintained for the inbound delivery item. Copying the
serial numbers to the inbound delivery is not supported
