What causes this issue?

For this <GL:batch>batch</>, a date is specified as of which the batch
is available. This date is in the future.

System Response

An error message is produced when this batch is manually entered in the
delivery. If this error occurs when a delivery is being created for a
sales order, the order item will not be delivered.

Specifying a batch in the delivery

Correct the order item as appropriate.
