Status &2 (&1) cannot be set

What causes this issue?

You wanted to set an item status out of the overview screen. An error
has been reported while checking whether this status can be set.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Go into the log in the overview screen. Here, you can look at the error
that is preventing the status from being set.
