CO posting period &1 (&2) is blocked for &3 (&4)

What causes this issue?

For the transfer of the reconciliation key to the general ledger or the
profitability analysis (CO) for alternative posting date &V3& and
company code &V4&, period &V1& for the assigned controlling area &V2&
is blocked.

System Response

The data is not updated.

How to fix this error?

In transaction <DS:TRAN.FPG0>FPG0</>, maintain the table of alternative
posting dates. Specify an alternative posting date for which the
posting period is open and in which the data can be posted.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
