Request &1 cannot be changed: Incorrect system or wrong naming convention

What causes this issue?

You cannot change request &V1& in this SAP System because it does not
follow the naming convention for requests in this system. The first
three characters of the request name must be the system name and the
fourth character must be <LS>K</>.
The only exceptions are delivery transports and preliminary
corrections, which have to begin with <LS>SAP</>, and piece lists,
whose names you can choose, as long as they do not conflict with the
naming conventions.

System Response

The function terminates.

How to fix this error?

Choose a request that has been created in this SAP System.
Check whether the Change and Transport System has been initialized
correctly.
