Customizing settings for position differentiation are incomplete

What causes this issue?

In Customizing for parallel position management, the position
differentiation for the individual valuation areas is not maintained.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Make the required settings in Customizing under 'Define and Assign
Differentiations'.
