Could not update package level for component &1

What causes this issue?

When you imported the OCS package &V2&, the software component &V1& was
updated to the package level &V3&. However, the system failed to update
the entry for the software component &V1& in the table CVERS.

System Response

The objects of the OCS package &V2& were imported successfully. To
complete the import, however, administrative information has to be
updated.
You cannot ignore this error because the package levels that are in the
CVERS table are used to check prerequisite SAP Notes in the Note
Assistant. Otherwise inconsistencies occur.

How to fix this error?

Check whether there is an entry in table CVERS with <ZH>COMPONENT =
&V1&</>. To do this, call the data browser (transaction SE16).
If there is such an entry, continue the import of the queue. Maybe
there was only a temporary problem with access to the CVERS database
table.
If not, or if repeated import attempts do not work, contact the SAP
support team.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
