What causes this issue?

System Response

The system does not allow you to uncheck <LS>Version BOM Active
</>checkbox if you've activated the manufacturing feature Extended
Manufacturing Engineering (EME) in the Customizing <LS>Activate Feature
and Acknowledge License Obligations</> under <LS>Production</> ->
<LS>Manufacturing for Production Engineering and Operations</>. The
system displays an error message.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
