No number range assigned to generate dig. signatures for company code &1

What causes this issue?

The activation of a foreign company code to create digital signatures
requires consistent Customizing for the relevancy of the number ranges
that are used to generate the digital signatures.
No number range is recorded to generate digital signatures for the
company code that you tried to activate.

System Response

The system prevents the activation because it is ineffective.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Procedure for System Administrators

Enter the missing entries in the relevant Customizing activity under
<LS>Cross-Application Components -> General Application Functions ->
Digital Signature -> Country-Specific Settings -> Portugal</>.
You must do the following:
Record all number ranges that a company code accesses
Make Customizing settings for each recorded number range if a digital
signature has to be generated
Ensure that at least one number range is relevant for digital signature
generation
