Insp. lot setup from matl master; at least one active insp. rule reqd

What causes this issue?

As the inspection lot setup originates from the material master, the
system requires at least a generic inspection rule to start the
inspection process for all materials, whether an inspection is relevant
or not. Note that inspection relevance is determined by the quality
management settings in the material master. If a material is
inspection-relevant, you specify an active inspection type in the
material master that corresponds to the inspection type in the
inspection rule.
You specify from where the inspection lot setup data originates in the
Customizing activity
<DS:SIMG./SCWM/QIOTWM>Warehouse-Dependent Activation of Inspection
Object Type</>.

System Response

The system prevents goods receipt posting.

How to fix this error?

Create a generic inspection rule that the system can use to start the
inspection process for all materials. To create an inspection rule, on
the <LS>SAP Easy Access</> screen choose <LS>Logistics</> > <LS>SCM
Extended Warehouse Management</> > <LS>Extended Warehouse Management</>
> <LS>Master Data</> > <LS>Quality Management</> > <LS>Maintain
Inspection Rule</> (transaction
