Storage location &1 is not assigned to storage type of storage bin &2

What causes this issue?

The storage location is not linked to the storage type of the bin.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check your Customizing or business configuration for Warehouse
Management for assignment errors. The ERP storage location is assigned
to an availability group and warehouse number. The storage type of the
bin can be assigned to an availability group.
