Delivery &1, item &2: Kit not completely packed

What causes this issue?

You are processing an outbound delivery order or an outbound delivery,
which contains kits, in a kit-to-order process.
Due to configuration in ERP and EWM, a handling unit (HU) item for the
kit header is mandatory. This HU item is missing. For more information,
see Customizing for EWM under <ZK>Goods Issue process</> -> <ZK>Make
Settings for Kitting</>, under <ZK>Preceding comment on ERP integration
</>.

System Response

You cannot post goods issue for an outbound delivery that contains kits
that are packed into HUs, unless an HU item for the kit header has been
created.

How to fix this error?

Usually, you create the HU item during the packing process step. To
create the HU item afterwards, do the following:
IF &[SWITCH]/SCWM/SFWS_S4_101_S4ON& = 'X'.
On the launchpad, choose <ZK>Extended Warehouse Management</> ->
<ZK>Delivery Processing</> -> <ZK>Outbound Delivery</> -> <ZK>Maintain
Outbound Delivery Order</>.
ELSE.
On the <ZK>SAP Easy Access </>screen, choose <ZK>Extended Warehouse
Management</> -> <ZK>Delivery Processing</> -> <ZK>Outbound Delivery</>
-> <ZK>Maintain Outbound Delivery Order</>.
ENDIF.
Select your outbound delivery order.
Choose <ZK>Outbound Delivery Order</> -> <ZK>Follow-on Functions</> ->
<ZK>Pack.</>
Select the HU, for which you want to create the HU item.
Choose the <ZK>Generate Kits</> pushbutton.
EWM creates an additional item for the kit header, and displays it below
the HU header. Below the kit header item, EWM displays the kit
components.
Save your entries.
You can now post goods issue for the outbound delivery order or the
outbound delivery.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
