Subitems cannot be transferred into a single outbound delivery

What causes this issue?

You have picked stock for an Outbound Delivery Order (ODO) and want to
create an Outbound Delivery (OD) or post goods issue for this stock.
During creation of the OD items the system finds that the main item of
the ODO needs to be split (for example you have picked packed and
unpacked stock items or you've only picked a partial quantity of the
item) and multiple new subitems need to be created.
The problem occurs also, if you create multiple subitems for an ODO main
item manually.
It is prohibited to create multiple OD items in a single OD for subitems
of the same ODO main item, because the ERP cannot handle these.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

You can resolve this problem if you <ZH>split the main item</> and
create the OD for each subitem <ZH>manually </>using transaction
/SCWM/PRDO.
Special case:
If stock quants assigned to different subitems of an ODO are picked (and
packed) into a single handling unit (HU), then you won't be allowed to
create separate OD for the subitems.
In this case you have to re-organize the stock items of the subitems in
a way, that these belong to different HU-s, when creating the FD or
posting goods issue.
