Invalid carrier and airline code combination

What causes this issue?

You cannot enter this combination because the carrier has not been
assigned to the airline code in the <LS>Maintain Business Partner
</>transaction (transaction <LS>BP</>).

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Contact your system administrator.

Procedure for System Administrators

To assign the carrier to the airline code, perform the following steps:
Go to the <LS>Maintain Business Partner </>transaction (transaction
<LS>BP</>).
Enter the business partner for the carrier.
Enter <LB>Carrier </>in the <LS>Display in BP role</> field.
On the <LS>Vendor Data</> tab page, assign the carrier to the airline
code in the <LS>Airline Codes </>screen area.
Save your entries.
