FSD &1 in intermediate status; freight doc &2 ignored in change process

What causes this issue?

Freight settlement document &V1& is in the process of being posted, and
therefore has an intermediate status. The system does not include a
freight document that has an associated freight settlement document that
is in an intermediate status, in the automatic change management
process.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

You must wait until the system confirms that the freight settlement
document has been successfully posted. You can then post the freight
settlement document manually on the freight settlement document screen.
Alternatively, you can run the <ZK>Creation and Posting of Freight
Settlement Documents</> background processing function (program
/SCMTMS/SFIR_CREATE_BATCH). The system automatically posts the freight
settlement document in the background.
