Cannot release agreement version because version &1 already released

What causes this issue?

You want to release an agreement version that has either the same
validity period as agreement version &V1& or a validity period that
overlaps with agreement version &V1&. However, you cannot release
multiple agreement versions with the same or overlapping validity
periods.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Change the status of agreement version &V1& so that it is no longer
released or change the validity period of the agreement version that you
want to release.
