Credit limit check not performed: amount exceeds maximum number of digits

What causes this issue?

The maximum number of digits you can have in the credit limit check
amount is 17. You can have 15 digits before the decimal point and 2
digits after the decimal point. You have entered an amount that is
longer than 15 digits before the decimal point.

You must enter an amount that is not longer than 15 digits before the
decimal point.
