Change process cannot execute; missing settings for credit memo type

What causes this issue?

You have enabled the automatic change process for forwarding
settlements. However, the system cannot apply the automatic change
process because you have not specified the required settings for the
default credit memo.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Contact your system administrator.

Procedure for System Administrators

You must specify the prerequisites for the credit memo type in the
<ZK>Define Credit Memo Reason Codes and Types for Forwarding SDs</>
Customizing activity. You must specify the following settings for the
default credit memo type that you use in the automatic change process:
<LS>Influence Invoicing Status</>
<LS>Automatic Enter Credit Amount</>
