Error in settings for document flow category &1

What causes this issue?

The process of determining a database table for the document flow data
of category &V1& failed while checks were being run. Therefore the
actual check function could not be performed.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check the Customizing settings of document flow category for category
&V1& by first running the corresponding check in the check monitor.
Process the messages returned by the check monitor, fix the problematic
entries, and run this particular check again (eventually limiting the
selection to document category &V1& to improve performance).
