Reduction of fixed pegging quantity

What causes this issue?

The fixed pegging quantity was reduced or deleted as a result of a
quantity change to the pegged requirement or receipt.

System Response

SAP APO adjusts the fixed pegging quantity between a requirement and a
receipt dynamically, if the requirement or receipt quantity in SAP R/3
has been reduced to a value that is less than the fixed pegging quantity
in SAP R/3. This operation is logged in the <LS>SAP APO</>
<LS>Application Log</>.
Examples:
If you reduce a requirement in the R/3 system, the fixed pegging
quantity is reduced to the new requirement quantity.
If you reduce a receipt in the R/3 system, the fixed pegging quantity is
reduced to the new receipt quantity.
If you delete a requirement or receipt in the R/3 system, SAP APO
deletes the fixed pegging relationship.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
