Missing quantities could not be fully explained

What causes this issue?

You are using SNP/deployment optimization with discrete contraints and
apply the explanation function to explain non-deliveries or safety-stock
violations.

System Response

The explanation function explains missing quantities such as
non-deliveries or safety-stock violations that occur due to lack of
capacity, insufficient material availability, or lead times. However, in
a discrete model, these missing quantities may occur nontheless. The
explanation function cannot explain them.

How to fix this error?

Use the explanation function to explain missing quantities occurring in
continuous models. First, choose a continuous model in the optimization
profile, then reoptimize. If non-deliveries or safety-stock violations
still occur, use the explanation function to explain them.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
