Update in liveCache was attempted although an error occurred

What causes this issue?

A program has attempted to trigger an update in SAP liveCache (
<ZK>Merge</>) although an error was determined in the APO Core
Interface (CIF).

System Response

CIF prevents the update in SAP liveCache.

How to fix this error?

Use the messages in the application log for integration to analyze the
error that occurred. Rectify the error and restart the transfer.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
