Reconciliation method not possible for selected inconsistency

What causes this issue?

You cannot use the reconciliation method selected for this
inconsistency.

System Response

The system terminates the action.
The CIF comparison/reconciliation of transaction data checks whether the
inconsistency selected can be reconciled using
the reconciliation method selected. Inconsistencies where this is
not the case are automatically removed from the selection.
The system first checks whether the reconciliation method (for example,
<ZH>Send to APO</>) is allowed for this inconsistency. For some
inconsistencies only one reconciliation method is permitted.
The system then checks whether this inconsistency has already been
reconciled. You can only reconcile an inconsistency once.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
