A pegging relationship is linking order &1 to itself

What causes this issue?

A pegging relationship is linking an activity of order &V1& to another
activity of the same order.

System Response

The system ignores this pegging relationship. This can cause shortages
for a component of order &V1&.

How to fix this error?

Switch off backward pegging as follows:
In the optimization profile for
<DS:DE./SAPAPO/CDPS_OPT_BW_PEG_LEN>Backward Pegging</>, enter the value
<zh>0</>
On the <ls>Demand</> tab page in the product master, set the
<DS:DE./SAPAPO/DM_PEGGING_PAST_MAX>maximum lateness of a receipt</> (for
dynamic pegging) to <zh>0</>.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
