Material &1 not planned in APO

What causes this issue?

The <DS:DE.DISMM>MRP type</> maintained in the material master does not
allow any <DS:DE.CBP_PLANTYPE>external planning</> for material &v1&.

System Response

No requirements from APO are taken into account.

How to fix this error?

To allow external planning for your material, you have to choose <LS>1
</> or <LS>2</> as the planning method in the IMG activity <LS>Check
MRP Types</>. (Customizing for Materials Management ->
Consumption-Based Planning -> Master Data).

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
