Data target '&' cannot be filled because a DTP update is active

What causes this issue?

You cannot load data to the InfoProvider because there are active DTP up
dates from DataSource &V2& and source system &V3& for this InfoProvider.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
