DataSource setting 'PSA in CHAR format' is not supported

What causes this issue?

You have chosen the 'PSA in CHAR format' setting in your DataSource.
This could result in incorrect data in the target in SAP HANA execution.
The conversion from External Format to Internal Format is not performed
in SAP HANA execution.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Please either remove the 'PSA in CHAR format' setting in your DataSource
or carry out the extraction using the data transfer process (DTP) using
ABAP execution.
