The next delta will not receive the records from request &1
Message type: E = Error
Message class: RSBC - Messages for DTP Command and Command Templates
Message number: 055
Message text: The next delta will not receive the records from request &1
What causes this issue?
You want to delete request &V1&. The request has extracted data directly
from the source system (using either the ODP adapter or generic delta).
There are newer requests of the same DTP, such as request &V2&.
System Response
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
How to fix this error?
If you want to make sure that the next delta request will receive the
data records processed by request &V1&, proceed as follows:
Make sure that the data processed by request &V1& is still available in
the source system (see below).
Then delete request &V1&, &V2& and all requests between them in the
administration view of the target.
If you follow this procedure, the next delta request will recover the
data available in the source system corresponding to the deleted
consecutive requests of the same DTP.
<ZH>If you do not follow this procedure, the next delta request will
retrieve new data from the source system.</>
Procedure for System Administrators
For ODP Source Systems: data confirmed by the BW system is retained in
the delta queue of the source system for a specified time period. During
this period, the data can be retrieved again. The
<DS:DE.ODQ_RETENTION_TIME>retention period</> can be configured in the
delta queue monitor (transaction ODQMON) on the source system. Once the
retention period has expired, the data is deleted during reorganization
of the delta queue.
